Two found unresponsive in Duval County Neighborhood
Around 4pm on January 15th, 2026, JSO Patrol officers responded to the Washington Street North after receiving reports of an unresponsive person. Once they arrived, the officers discovered a second person dead at the scene. JSO have stated that they were able to identify the men as in their early 20s. There was evidence that a firearm was used at the scene, although official classification of the deaths remains pending. The investigation is ongoing and is seeking answers.
