Information Sought on the Murder of Jacksonville Local, Brittney Gover “CoCo”
On December 21st of 2018, the Baker County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased person found lying on the side of West Railroad Avenue in MacClenny, Florida. Investigation soon discovered that the identity of the individual was 27-year-old Brittney Gover (“CoCo”) of Jacksonville. Her death was soon ruled to be a homicide. The investigators worked with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE) Genetic Genealogy Team(s) to try and identify a suspect(s). Over the years, there have been several persons of interest, but the case remains open. At the time of her death, Grover was homeless and was known to frequent downtown Jacksonville near the bus stations and homeless shelters.
Helpful information in this case includes, but is not limited to: description/names of suspect(s), vehicle descriptions, location of individuals involved, etc. Anyone with information regarding the incident or those involved are encouraged to submit a tip to First Coast Crime Stoppers.
