Body found in burning Vehicle in Middleburg
On April 6th, firefighters and deputies responded to a vehicle fire in Middleburg near County Road 218 and N. Mimosa Avenue. After they extinguished the fire, they discovered a body of a male victim. According to the sheriff’s office his cause of death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy.
Later investigation found that it appears the vehicle may have been parked in the same spot on the morning of April 5th, but the fire did not start until Monday.
