Brittany Matthews Shot and Killed ***Enhanced Reward Up to $9,500***

On Monday, August 3rd, 2020, A 31-year-old woman shot and killed at a gas station has been identified by her mourning family and friends as Brittany “Bee” Matthews.

The gunman is seen running toward the victim’s car in the parking lot at Edgewood Avenue West and Avenue B and opening fire about 9 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office said. The woman was shot multiple times and died at the scene, police said.

The Sheriff’s Office said it appears she was targeted by the gunman, described as a thin Black male wearing a hoodie and a face mask in security camera images. He parked near her in a silver Nissan Rogue and ran up, firing into her vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday morning that the Nissan has been found. The agency also released two more photos of a man and a woman who may have information about the homicide and is asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
