Burglary at Big Cash Pawn located at 4556 Blanding Blvd. between Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16, 2013. Multiple firearms, X-box 360/Sony PlayStation systems, power tools, cameras, laptops, and jewelry were stolen.

On Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 4:44 a.m. police responded to a call at 5221 Missouri Avenue reference to someone shot.
Upon arrival police found Jazmine Shelton, white female, 13 years old who was pronounced deceased at the scene and Megan Simmons, white female, 14 years old who was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition. Sadly, Megan Simmons succumbed to her injuries a few days later.
Both girls were inside the mobile home when a suspect(s) fired into the living room area of the mobile home where these young girls were at. These girls were doing nothing wrong.

On late Tuesday night, June 25, 2013, the Jacksonville Sheriff`s Office began investigating a homicide and arson at 3604 Mimosa Dr. The victim, Robert James Levey, was discovered deceased at his home which had been set on fire. According to JSO Homicide Lt. Rob Schoonover, Mr. Levey had been brutally murdered. Mr. Levey was often seen around the neighborhoods as he collected discarded items for scrap metal and flea market items.
The JSO Homicide Unit is looking for a white male in his late teens to early twenties, 5`6"-5`7" feet tall, 120lbs, and shoulder length brown hair. He was wearing a green shirt, shorts, and a black and white backpack. This individual was seen near the victim`s house at the time of the fire, a little before 11p.m., Tuesday, June 25th, 2013, and may be a suspect. At the time of the incident, the suspect may have sustained some injuries and left the area on foot.

On, Friday, July 19, 2013 around 2:27 a.m. an unknown suspect shot Amber Bass, 22 years old while she was in her driveway. This occurred in the 8400 block of Springtree Road in the Springtree Subdivision near Old Middleburg Rd and Fouraker Rd. The victim’s purse has not been located. We are asking anyone who may have seen a gray purse with silver studs like the one in the drawing anywhere since July 19, 2013 to please contact police right away.

Enhanced Rewards on Eastwood Oaks Arsons in Hilliard
Hilliard residents on high alert after repeated arsons. -- Residents of Hilliard say their town is being terrorized by arsonists after two more incidents happened overnight. For the second time in less than a week, several cars have been set on fire at Eastwood Oaks Apartments off Eastwood Road, according to the Nassau County Sheriff`s Office.
The owners of the Eastwood Oaks Apartment complex have enhanced the reward to $5000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s). The total amount of reward available is $6000. (This does not incorporate the up to $5000 reward offerred by the State Fire Marshalls office).

On Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:15 a.m., police were dispatched to ABC Fine Wine and Spirits Liquors located at 2621 Cesery Boulevard in reference to a burglar alarm. When police arrived they noticed the front class door was smashed with a block and numerous bottles of alcohol were stolen.
On Friday, April 19, 2013 at 4:03 a.m. police were dispatched to
ABC Fine Wine and Spirits Liquors located at 9436 San Jose Boulevard in
reference to a burglar alarm. When police arrived they observed the front
glass window broken and broken alcohol bottles behind the front register.
Surveillance footage showed three suspects all wearing gloves and had their faces covered. The Roosevelt Blvd surveillance footage shows four suspects. The suspects entered the store and filled a shopping cart with 22 bottles of alcohol and left. Video evidence shows that the same suspects committed both burglaries.
ABC Fine Wine and Spirits Company is offering an enhanced reward up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of these suspects.

On November 19th, 2007, at 10:15 p.m., police answered a call at the Mission Springs apartments at 5327 Timuquana Road and found 19-year-old Barry Lee Brooks with life-threatening injuries. Rescue took Brooks to Shands Jacksonville hospital, but he didn`t survive. Police think the crime was related to an attempted robbery and said they`re looking for two assailants. The crime scene was near a trash bin at the tree line along Catoma Street. On November 15th 2011, the victims, Kelli Jo Diadone, 40, and Richard Douglas Barley,42, were shot at 10228 Spivey Terrace. The victims died from gunshot wounds. On Friday Sept 7th at 0845, police were dispatched to East 26th Street and Buckman Street in reference to a shooting. When they arrived they found Richard Key deceased on the side of the road. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. It had been reported that a white passenger vehicle had been circling the neighborhood prior to the shooting and was seen speeding off from 26th/Buckman right after. The vehicle was occupied by 2-3 black males, had window tint and was described by witnesses as a police style Impala all the way to a Toyota 4dr.
