Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Westbrook Circle on Wednesday, Jan 27th, around 3:15 pm, where they found, 26-year-old George Williams Ashley and 21-year-old Brittany Shantel White sitting in the driver’s and front passenger’s seat of a car. They had both been shot. Their six-month-old girl was found in the back seat of the car unharmed. Investigators need your help! Police have identified the woman found dead Saturday night, January 16th, near the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Harper Street as 22-year-old Shalinda Rosier, and have called her death a homicide.
The Jacksonville Sheriff`s Office said police were flagged down about 10 p.m. and told about the body. At the time they called it an undetermined death.

On Thursday, Jan. 14th, at 4:20 am, Maurice Cardell Sutton, 33, was found shot to death in the parking lot of a day care near Panama Park, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff`s Office. Police say that officers were flagged down near West 48th Street and North Main Street, near Northshore Elementary School, early Thursday morning after someone found a body on the ground.

On Friday, August 21st, 2015, just after midnight, Jackie Harris was found shot to death in his home at the La Esperanza apartment complex. He had been shot multiple times. On Wednesday, October 28th, 2015, A burning car led investigators to make a grim discovery Wednesday night when they found a woman’s body inside a residence in the Hyde Park area of Jacksonville, authorities said.
Police were called to a report of a burning car in the 2500 block of Hyde Park Road about 8:30 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. When they arrived, they tracked the plate to a residence in the 6200 block of Harlow Boulevard, police said.
That’s where investigators found a 61-year-old Bradla Sue Cook dead under suspicious circumstances inside her home. Foul play is suspected, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is in need of the public’s assistance in the investigation of the July 22nd, 2015 shooting at The Blind Rabbit restaurant, 901 King Street. The victim, Daniel E. Rowe, 20, died from injuries sustained in the shooting. He was an employee of the restaurant, working at the time. The shooting occurred in the rear of the business shortly after 10pm.
The investigation is continuing and no motive has been determined, however a witness observed two black males fleeing the scene.

JACKSONVILLE, FL (October 5, 2015) - The Jacksonville Sheriff`s Office is asking for the community`s assistance in identifying a burglary suspect that struck on the City`s southside.
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 16, 2015, a burglary was committed at the King Food Mart in the 10700 block of Beach Boulevard. As seen in surveillance footage, an unknown individual approached the front of the business and threw what appears to be a large piece of concrete into the front door which allowed him to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect took numerous items before leaving the area.
